Well according to some on the SN message boards it's:-
Little Value
Low Value
unLoVed
This seems to be bourn out by the team selection made by Richard Cockerill for Leicester's visit to Sandy Park and they are not the only squad to take that approach. From a Chiefs Supporter perspective the competition has been another step in our first journey in top-flight rugby. Rob Baxter &Co. have used the non Prem games to give the squad valuable game time and an opportunity to push for an AP start. As such it can be seen as having considerable value and who knows after this weekend we could find ourselves with a semi-final game. However the LV= structure means this is dependant on others. Chiefs are currently second, to Quins, in their pool with 11 pointsfrom 2 wins and a draw and have to play Falcons who top their pool with 5 points from 1 win and 2 losses. Quins with 13 points frrom 3 wins visit Cardiff Blues who have yet to record a victory. So even a win at Kingston Park looks unlikely to be enough!
Whatever happens I've signed up for the long journey north and will report on the outcome next week.
I think our Draw at Cardiff, and Quins enthusiasm for this trophy has cost us the opportunity to progress.
Please Cardiff prove me wrong.
Still have to win at Newcastle, let ourselves down last time up there.
Good write up in rugby times where they emphasise that newcastle could qualify only winning 1 game where as we are unbeaten and could miss out! madness! bring back the knockout cup I say
Hi sorry to interrupt I am from Quins - we really do not want to play Wasps again in the LV cup and wonder if we ask you v. nicely could you loose to Newcastle today?! I know it is a lot to ask but we are really a bit fed up with playing the Wycombe pests? Look forward to seeing you next week.
