The newly crowned World Champions have announced that they have signed the current New South Wales captain Danny Buderus on a two year contract. One of the World's best hookers will join Leeds from the 2009 season, but the club site tells fans that he will not brought over the pond to play in his best position, but he will be replacing Gareth Ellis

The newly crowned World Champions have announced that they have signed the current New South Wales captain Danny Buderus on a two year contract.
One of the World's best hookers will join Leeds from the 2009 season, but the club site tells fans that he will not brought over the pond to play in his best position, but he will be replacing Gareth Ellis who will be leaving the Rhinos for the West Tigers at the end of the season.

Buderus is playing in his 11th NRL season with the Knights (NRL season starts this weekend) and has also played for Australia on 24 occasions, whilst playing for his State of Origin team 18 times.

It's safe to say that Danny will be a great addition to one of the best attacking rugby league sides, in the World - even if playing in a different position. Don't be worried about this though, with today's players being more flexible in which positions they can play in, he will be a great position to our forward pack.
