It's more of a game we all want to forget, with Leeds missing 13 or so first team regulars, it wasn't a surprise that the academy side lost to a full strength Super League side. So, we're just going to give you the match facts as our photo agency didn't even turn up to the game to get any photos!

Leeds Rhinos 18 - 26 Wakefield Wildcats
26th December, 2007
Wakefield's Damian Blanch scored on his debut for Wildcats as they beat the newly crowned Super League winners 26-18 at the Headingley Festive Challenge which is expected to get a much smaller crowd next time due to a vast amount of players not back at pre-season training.
Wakefield led 16-0 after the first quarter and held on as Leeds put immense pressure on the Wakey in the secound half making the final score 26 - 18 in favour of the Wildcats. Quite promising to say the side was full of youngsters coming up through the ranks.
