Miller: "I'm desperate to play"

Gillingham midfielder Adam Miller is desperate to play in Gillingham crucial season finale at Elland Road on Saturday having served his two-match suspension. The game will have a sell-out crowd watching and Miller is hopeful he can make a return to the squad.

Miller has been forced to sit out The Gills’ previous two games which both ended in one all draws, and Miller is desperate to make the squad and help Gillingham avoid the drop to League Two.

The Gills require a victory and hope results go their way to avoid relegation to the basement division of the Football League, and Miller says it would be his biggest game of his career ifhe gets to play. Miller told KentOnline: "I'm desperate to play. It would be the biggest game of my career. I’ve been in good situations before but this is high pressure, high intensity and something a lot of the boys haven’t experienced."

Leeds United’s Elland Road will have a sell-out crowd for the finale, and Miller is looking forward to the experience: "It’s about how we deal with the occasion. I’m buzzing and can’t wait for the game."

Hopefully he can last at least an hour as in the last few games he played in he looked knackered after 30 mins because of his hernia.

He is a good player though and is worth a gamble playing him as he does create chances.

The blokes crap! Always gives the ball away and is totally over-rated.

Miller is a very talented player, the only reason he has been off form in recent games is because of his Hernia and Stimson has still played him, but Miller played through the pain barrier to help us stay up.

He is a playmaker who tries hard for that killer pass so when it doesn't come off, fans like you can't wait to get on his back.

When at full fitness I am sure he will excel for us whether it be in League Two or League One...hopefully the latter.
