Gills aim to avoid record

Gillingham today host Wallsall at the krbs Priestfield Stadium, aiming to avoid becoming the first Gillingham side in the club's history to lose all five of the opening five games to a season. Gillingham quartet Gary Mulligan, Aaron Brown, Simon King and David Graham are all doubts for the visit of Wallsall today, meaning that Gillingham will be forced to field youngsters due to no new recruits coming on deadline day.

The Gills will also be without defender Efe Sodje who serves the last of a three match ban.

Duncan Jupp is still ruled out, and striker Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu is out on loan.
