Gillingham will be aiming to continue their impressive unbeaten run at The Galpharm stadium on Saturday. The Gills have never lost on their travels to Huddersfield, and look to continue that run with Nicky Southall making his third Gillingham debut.

Gills manager Ronnie Jepson will now have to make do without duo Bas Savage and Alan Pouton who have left Gillingham. Bas Savage rejected a contract extension to join Brighton & Hove Albion, whereas Alan Pouton was forced to retire from the game.

Jepson does have Nicky Southall for the trip to his former club however. 'Trigger' signed a two-and-a-half year deal on deadline day and is expected to start on Saturday for what will be his third Gillingham debut.

Ian Cox returns to the side following his two match suspension, but is unlikely to start following the impressive partnership at the back formed between Leon Johnson and Ben Chorley. Mark Bentley however is suspended for the game as he serves a one game suspension for recieving five yellow cards this season.

With Trinidian Kelin Jack still out injured, on loan 'keeper Romain Larrieu is set to start. Larrieu impressed on his home debut where he pulled off a string of fine saves to earn Gillingham a clean sheet in their two, nil home defeat of Tranmere Rovers last Friday.

Peter Jackson has England Under-20 international Andy Taylor for the visit of Gillingham on Saturday.Taylor signed on a months loan from Premiership outfit Blackburn Rovers.

Meanwhile Tom Clarke and Mark Hudson miss the game due to knee injuries.
