Forest Striker Grant Holt has decided to stay at the City Ground after talks with Bristol City. After having a poor last few games Forest boss Calderwood has been willing to let him go. However, Holt says "I want to stay and fight for my place at Forest".

Carlise have signed Ipswich striker James Krause on loan. "James is coming in on loan with a view to possibly singing permenatley" said Manager McDonald.

Crewe are trying to extend the on-loan contract of Andy Taylor from Blackburn Rovers. "We're waiting to hear from Blackburn and obviously we're in their hands over it," Alex assistant manager Neil Baker said.

Meanwhile Swansea have not signed Southend midfielder Luke Gutteridge after a move was confirmed by Swansea but the Shrimpers midfielder did not want a move to Wales.
