First team coach Bobby Paterson has resigned from his post as First Team Coach. Paterson quit due to the heavy work load involved in his new role. It has also been revealed that club physio Simon Webster has also resigned.
Paterson was promoted from Youth Team Coach to First Team coach, but chose to quit his post as his family life was suffering.

Meanwhile Gillingham's club Physio has also resigned from his post at Priestfield. It is unknown at this moment in time why he chose to leave Priestfield.

Bobby Paterson said, "I was the chief scout, the first-team coach and the head of youth and it was just impossible. In many ways it's sad to leave but I'm also relieved it's over," he told Kent Messenger.

Of the difficulties faced in trying to bring players in, he added: "It doesn't matter how many players we identify they always seem to fall down.

"I think it's becoming extremely frustrating for everyone, most of all the manager and it must be driving him insane."
