Gills squad given time off

GIllingham boss Ronnie Jepson has given most of this week off following three consecutive victories in one week. The Gills beat Doncaster, Milllwall and Swansea in the space of 7 days to lift the Gills to the top half of the table.
Following the impressive victories it has been revealed that the Gills boss has given his side the best part of the week off, with the squad being tired.

A Gillingham spokesman said, "They (Gillingham players) have a busy schedule coming up and I think the manager wants to make sure they are in the best possible shape for it.

"It's been a great week for us, but also a tiring one."

The Gills travel to Oldham in their next game and then make a visit to Leyton Orient in search of another impressive winning run like last seasons memorable six consecutive wins.
