Gillingham chairman Paul Scally travels to Scotland on Monday which could determine Gillingham's future. There is the possibility of the Gills going into administration which could leave the Gills on minus six points, sending them three points behind Rotherham and send the Gills bottom of League 1. Paul Scally revealed on his programme notes that he is travelling to the Bank of Scotland. He claims he is going there with lots of optimism and that he is close to resolving the off field matters at the club.

Writing in his programme notes Paul Scally wrote, "I travel to the Royal Bank of Scotland this Monday feeling confident that we are close to resolving our problems off the field. It has been a long process and now I hope for a successful process in order for us to view the future with a fair amount of optimism."

The Gills avoided going into administration last season after Scally's meeting with them last year and was pleased with how the meeting went. It seems unlikely that the Gills will go into administration but the threat is there and Gills fans will have a very nervy day on Monday and hope that Scally can keep the Gills out of administration.
