Gills miss out on another striker

Gillingham have missed out on signing another striker. The club demanded the Gills to pay all of the Championship player's wages, which the Gills simply cannot afford.
A local paper has revealed that Ronnie Jepson has missed out on the chance to sign Burnley striker Gifton Noel-Williams.

The deal was on the verge of completion before Burnley decided that they wanted the Gills to pay all of the striker's wages.

Jepson was forced to pull out of the deal as the wages were too much. Jepson refused to comment on the matter, meaning he may be trying to tempt the Championship club into reducing their demands.
