After it being claimed that Crystal Palace are interested in young Gills star Andrew Crofts, it is being rumoured that Scally will try and negotiate a deal that will see Tommy Black return to Priestfield, with Crofts going the other way.
Recenlty, Crofts was linked with a move to both the Britania Stadium and Selhurst Park, it is rumoured that former Gills loanee Tommy Black shall return to the club and Crofts shall go to Selhurst Park.

Tommy Black played an instrumental part in Gillingham's six consecutive wins. He scored vital goals for the Gills last season and became an instant hit with the fans. But has failed to even make the bench this season which could see him return to Priestfield.

Should Black sign it would create fantastic competition in the side, bringing the optimism from after the Huddersfield game back to Priestfield.
