Gills in controversial defeat at Brighton

Gillingham were defeated due to a controversial goal by Jake Robinson. The build up play was what caused the controversy. The ball had appeared to go out of play. It was the build up to the goal which caused the controversy as the ball appeared to go out of play, but despite Gills' protests - which got Jack booked for dissent, the goal was given.

Jarvis and McDonald looked lively all night, causing havoc for the Seagulls' defence but just couldn't find a way past Wayne Henderson.
