England wicket keeper Geraint Jones has spoken out about the disappointing one day series against India and how he thinks they can overcome it after their previous test success. Missing their senior players, England will only hope they will be back sooner rather than later. England find themselves 3-0 down in the latest one day series and are going to have to carve up something special if they are to get back in to it. England wicket keeper Geraint Jones believes that England are good enough to get back into the series even though some of the senior players are out.

“The success we have had over the past two years has made it a great environment to be in,” said Jones.

“We have lost a lot of players and that has made it difficult because new faces have come in and the team I have been used to has been very settled, but we will come good"

“It has been a time of change over the past six months but the guys back home are all getting ready and I am sure they will all be back and that team we had success with will hopefully be together again before long.”

England fans will be glad to hear that but with Ashley Giles still causing the most concern with his hip injury, there are three more of the Senior players still out.

“There are three or four quality players we are missing and - having spoken to the medical guys - it will take some time for all of them to get over these injuries.”

After some great luck with injuries in the Ashes series many would think that we were due to have some injuries this time around and that is the case. With the next match starting tomorrow, England are going to have to forget about the players out and try and overcome an 'in-form' India side.
