A must win, should win, fixture for Albion as they entertain Dings Crusaders this Saturday.

After last weekend's defeat to Rosslyn Park, Albion will be keen to get their campaign back on track and stay in touch with the two league leaders Rotherham and Park. Meanwhile, Dings, in 10th, will be searching for their second win to lift themselves further from the bottom of the table. With this being their second season at L3, only last season provides head to head stats, with this Albion winning the home tie 31-3.

Statistically Albion are dominant in all areas. With 31 tries to Dings 16, and conceded tries showing 13-31, the pack should provide Albion with a solid platform throughout the game. Dings may provide a little threat from the catch and drive set plays or from the back line if they move the ball to the centres and wings. Dings-can be expected to start quite strongly, but could wither offensively towards the end of the first period. Defensively, they are quite consistent, so Albion will need to keep up the tempo to achieve a good score.

With injury woes affecting Bristol Bears, Dings may be unable to call upon some of the DR players, in particular Sam Worsley, who would otherwise be first choice for the 10 shirt.

The Referee will be Holly Wood, who has issued 1 card in her two games refereed in Nat 1. Hopefully, her disciplinary eye will be focussed on Dings rather than Albion as they have accumulated 5 cards to Albion's 2 this season.

Player to watch - Harry Rowson - another Bears placement. Usually at 14 but played fullback last weekend. Scored 4 tries this season. Will look for holes in the defence.

Weather: Sunny intervals with a light Breeze blowing from the scoreboard corner. Relatively warm at 16°.

Prediction: Comfortable win for Albion.

Other games of note:
Rotherham v Rosslyn Park - Top of the table clash with someone having to lose their 100% record. Advantage is with Rotherham who have been prolific with their scoring, have the home advantage and an opportunity to review Park against a stronger side (Albion) last week.

Well that was definitely a game of two halves. I thought that Ding's held up well in the first half and then scored early in the second to suggest a challenge. But a with a subtle change in the back line Albion took complete control and ran away with the second half.

Great result - well done to the lads.

A very good result Albion ran away with it in the second half, nobody expected that just look at the prediction league.
Why have we got an evening game anyone know? It really messes with my weekend plans and she who must be obeyed is not happy.

Was any reason given for the lack of live music in the supporters bar?
A lot of people stayed behind and were disappointed .
