This weekend Albion travel away to Old Elthamians who it seems aren't planning a long stay in this division.

Currently leading the division by virtue of winning more games than Ampthill, OE are currently on a winning streak of 6 games, with the last 4 yielding bonus points.

That is not to say that they can't be beaten which they have been on four occasions with Sale being the notable exemplar of this achievement. However, to join this select group, Albion will need to bring their ‘A’ game, which can on occasion desert them.

OE have proven difficult to score against and have the honour of the tightest defence in the league conceding 2.5 tries a game – this falls to 2 tries a game over the last 5 matches. Scoring-wise they are running at 3.8 tries a game with the last games producing 4.6 per game, although this does include 10 against Loughborough. Both stats are much better than Albion’s averaging around for and against. 

Two-thirds of OE’s tries have come from their backs, and it appears that they like to spread it out wide with half of those being scored by wingers. Unfortunately for Albion, whose preferred route is through the forwards, OE have conceded a mere 18 tries from the opposing packs.

Player to watch – former Coventry winger Dominic Lespierre.

Weather: Dry, with light but a littly gusty breeze and a little cooler than of late.

Forecast: Difficult to see anything other than a BP win for OE. Albion likely to come away nothing.

Firstly Albion.

The message seems to be focussed on "we have a reasonably settled team".

And OE's

The focus here seems to be on the week break (which both teams had), and you sense a little bit of pressure to win.

I think Albion might be up for this!

I think your right Dewnansek and they aren't a Cov or Hartley are they, they seem to be unsure somehow. Unless it's fake news of course !
