Following the difficult times the club have experienced last season we are hopefull of a full recovery and in order to cope with the new financial restrictions that relegation brings it has been mooted that we could well bring in some foreign players and also of course as we lost the majority of our existing squad who wish to stay in the Championship, understandably, it leaves Graham Dawe and the coaching staff with a massive job on their hands to bring together a squad that can compete to a high level this term.
To that end we have been made aware of extra scouts being asked to note and report players from around the globe who can help the cause and wish to come to Plymouth.
These scouts are going far and wide and it's rumoured that reports are already filtering back to H.Q. in Devonport one such lead has been sent regarding a prop from either Roumania or perhaps Georgia, not sure at this stage, but they would certainley add some bulk to the pack I'm sure.

This players agent said that he was open to negotiations and will be in contact with the player who is presently enjoying a well earned break at a luxury resort somewhere on the Black Sea.
Further more if required this player has an identical twin, also a prop who is currently available and open to offers and they could even come as a complete package if the money was right.

The hope is though that following the recent trend of British companys and the employment agencies importing cheap labour from the E.U. and beyond we are keeping our fingers crossed that someone who has a small ship or even a large rowing boat could bring these players across the Channel and maybe drop them off on Devils Island when we when we could then bring them to Brickfields under the cover of darkness perhaps in the same way that the local kids enter the ground or at least they could before the new perimeter fence was installed, more of that later in another post. We are then hoping to employ them at something less than the minimum wage in order to keep down the cost of running a squad without the R.F.U. funding that we had whilst in the Championship, or even just for board and lodging while they parade thier talents before the Championship scouts hoping the further thier careers.
Perhaps this post should have been in the month of August when the press is full of non stories while everybody is on holiday but as we start traing before long we couldn't wait.
