A full house in the Redro

Here are some of the remaining photographs of the Redrow construction this extra stand has of course dramatically changed and improved the ground and also added an excellent vantage point for the television and the regular d.v.d. tapes of the games as well a good place to watch Albion.

This was taken during the pre season friendly against Gloucester.  No problems with restricted viewing there.

The precast floor slabs for the terracing arrive.

This photo shows those terrace flooring slabs in place, it's beginning to look like a grandstand now.

The precast floor slabs being laid to the mezzanine floor ( the Guinness Bar ) I think thats what it's called, I only see it every game mind you, anyway it holds about 50/60 for a meal and it used to be used for pre match meals for about £7/8 for the supporters but that has now stopped I think. A usefull additional seating area for bust corporate days such as over the Christmas period and the New year.

Now with the floor screeded the blockwork goes up on the mezzanine, the athlectics track is on the left of picture.

The reinforcing steelwork is laid to the main floor prior to the slab being laid, this wont get washed away easily.

The perimiter brickwork starts to go up, note the steps to the front are now in place.

The rest as they say is history, if anyone has a million pounds or so they can add another similar bay to the existing stand, any takers ?
