Here is an update and feedback from this get together in order to inform all supporters and friends of Albion of what is happening at their club.
Just a few words to say the the inaugral luncheon was a great success and all those who I spoke to said that they throughly enjoyed the chance to get together with others who were able to enjoy a chat whilst having a bite to eat and a drink and were keen to repeat the experience again.
Some 21 turned up for this inaugral lunch and the next gathering is planned for the 4th. September 2013 in the Albion Sports bar when once again we can chew the cud about all things Albion.
In addition to the normal club lunch menu it has been decided that there will also be some Homemade Pasties made by Lynn ( Club Chef ) on offer, in order to book your place at the next gathering on the 4th. September between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. would you please let Vince know on 01752 708291 or by e-mail on vbj998@yahoo,co.uk in order to assist the kitchen staff with planning arrangements for the day.
All in all it was felt that it was more like the old days of the traditional club rugby set up where the supporters got together for a bit of like minded company at (their) club.
Vince is keen to stress that these gatherings are open to ALL club supporters and not just 200 club members or any other group, lets get back to how it used to be is the call.
And from the view of the F.A.B. group on our weekly jobs we do around the ground, may I add that we have definitely noticed a big change in the friendliness from all the coaching staff and squad members from Shanners down, something that Nat started during his tem in charge, and it is now totally different from years gone by.
Enjoy the experience.
