Moseley use their get out of jail card

Moseley fight back to leave Albion with nothing from their trip to Moseley in the first match of the play-offs
Thrown away in the last few minutes.
Yes Albion took the trip to Moseley in the first match of the play-offs on Friday night with a reasonable following that made almost as much noise as the hosts.
They took the early lead and looked the better side in the first half going into the turn around 6 - 12 up.
The confidence was on a high and you would be forgiven in thinking that this was Albion's day and we would come away with our first away win of the season.
A try on right wing completed by scrum-half Ruairi Cushion as Albion pulled away took the score to 6 - 17, until then James Love had a 100% success with the boot.
With Moseley coming into the match more they camped on our line until Wayne Sprangle was shown the yellow card. But even then Albion continued to keep a safe defence.
In the 9th minute of his time in the bin Moseley went over and although the referee was unsighted it was the assistance that confirmed the try.
With a touchline conversion Albion needed an unconverted try to draw level. This was not to be and a penalty in front of the posts confirmed Moseley as the winners and Albion would go home with absolutely nothing as the ref did not allow any further time for Albion to come back.
The final whistle however was not the final play of the match as the huddle after the match broke into a maul with players being put on the ground and pulled away from the action by substitutes.
A sad day when you have to reflect on what should have been. This was Albion's match that was thrown away by only playing 70 minuets of rugby.

A bad result in what was described as a must win game! Where o'h where do we go from here?
Stay calm and carry on, battles aren't won without setbacks on the way.
All anyone can do is concentrate on the next game which happens to be Esher, and plan to win a game of rugby.
The home games are going to be imperative for Albion, as a losing bonus point slipped away from our grasp last evening.
All we can do as supporters is to come along and support the boys, and be patient, our team will take their opportunities when they arise.
To all Albion support keep the faith!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is NEGATIVE is 17 - 6 up with 25 mins to go and not controlling that scoreline .

If you truly support a team its through thick and thin. They are without doubt struggling, its times like this we need to get behind them and encourage them, not make ill thought of negative comments!

I'm with BP we should have the nous to close out a game with that lead however@#$%&we are playing. The good thing for us is that Esher lost at home yesterday.
We seem incapable of winning away and must therefore get the points we need at home. We need to win and win big if at all possible. Win our home games and we are hopefully still in the Champ.
I don't think we can beat Scottish away and already know Esher can run in forty points against us at their place.

After following the team for 25 yrs it has become more and more difficult over the last four seasons. The standard of rugby has been poor for the most part and dire on some occasions!
We have been subjected to the same excuses and the false promises of better things to come.
But I will along with my mates be there to support the team in their effort to stay in this division, because I am essentially an optimist and keep deluding myself it will be better next season!
I think if we win our three home games we will have a chance,add an away bonus point (which was blown on Friday) that would probably be enough to make us safe, 3 home wins and an away win would guarantee our place for next season.

Right labion,this has got nothing to do with support,always have been there and always will.my post was short to the point as i see.There is no need for a post like yours,this is a open forum to post OUR opinions.That is mine.
Do i want to go down no,but in some respects i don,t think it will do us to much harm either.It would be a kick in the butt for those's in the know,and the club can reassess where we are going and what they want.Lets face it we have been punching above weight.would we lose support if we went down,maybe but lloads have already gone.
negitive no,honest as I see it.
If we went to nd1 and club could get themselves on a sound footing living within it's means and playing more competitive attractive rugby,would that not be a good thing.

I think I speak for the majority of rugby supporters in Cornwall & Devon, who wish Albion all the best in the play offs. The last thing anyone wants is for your club to go down, because it will be so hard to come back up again!
If anything, this is where the marketing department of Albion should be working overtime now and the rest of the week, to make sure that you get large crowds/support for your home play off games.
As I can't get to watch the Bedford v Pirates match next Friday, I will be at Brickfields, supporting Albion.
On the positive side, just think of next season, we can all see the best of Britain, from Jersey to Newcastle.

As a Bris supporter can I add my support to your cause. I know very many Bris supporters who want Plymouth, of all teams, to stay in the Championship and get through your current crisis ( to which we can relate very closely).

It may be as I am an exile, but I can see absolutely no plan for the future. There was plenty of noise at the start of this latest crisis about investment, board changes etc, but it seems to have been very quiet since.
To be brutally honest , the Albion situation sums up everything about the city of Plymouth
