Stuff the supporters!

Fixtures committee set the worst set of fixtures on the New Year weekend with supporters having to travel an average of 425 miles fo follow their teams!

RFU Fixture Committee
ignore the supporters

The fixtures are now out and the committee have done a great job for the Christmas weekend. The total distances between the clubs for the six fixtures is just 439 miles.

Why could they not do the same for the following weekend? They have set fixtures that have the highest distances being nearly three times the previous week.

Why don't they just reverse fixtures in future seasons? So that you play home and away Christmas and New Year.  This could be a good for business and the supporters.  Please listen to the people that pay the gate money and keep the clubs running!

Don't complicate an already difficult matter by bringing common sense into it, Frank!

A bit aggressive Frank, given that we have Pirates away for the first & Donny at home for the second - couldn't be much better for us.

I also doubt there would be many who would appreciate a reverse fixture against opposition who inflicted a serious pasting the weekend before.

I think we have come off far worse than you ! Infact you have come off quite well ! You have a visit to us for the first game and we then have to go to Bedford on new years day ,Very well planned By the RFU i don't think. Why could they not have given both ot us a game with Bristol over the Holiday period

Yes we did not do bad, but how many of the Bedford supporters will make the trip on a bank holiday weekend.
I am complaining for theleague as a whole!

The facts speak for themselves.

Chrstmas 4 of the six away teams travel travel less than 100 miles to get to the fixture, one only 10! The other two travel 111 and 156.

New year every away team travels more than 100 two over 300

Always forwards never backwards!
