A full weekend for Albion teams. NL1 sees Otley visit Brickfields while Warriors are on their way to Rosslyn Park and Ladies host 2nd in table Saracens.

When Albion visited Otley in October, it was the Sixth game of the season and Albion had Won two and lost Three.  In a wet and very windy game the home side saw Otley lose by 31 to 16.  This time Otley make the trip to Brickfields, with Albion looking to make it a double win over them.

Otley are sitting next to bottom in the league and are prime for relegation back to division 2, only winning one more game than Manchester (games won were Manchester & Sedgley ‘tigers’).  With an average gate of 903, there won’t be mush travelling support, but for those that do travel, the Fortress will make you most welcome.

Players to look out for…….

Rob Kitching 4 tries, Luther Burrell and Paul Mooney with 3 tries and one yellow card each, Robert Baldwin with 2 tries and 2 yellow cards, Stephen Parsons 2 tries and one yellow card, Dan Hyde and Michael McCormish who both have one try and two yellows each, Tom Whittaker with one try and one yellow, Andrew Brown, Kyle Dench, David McCormack, Howard Parr, Danny Smith, Steven Trethewey, Peter Wackett, and Paul Williams with one try each, and their kicker Tom Rhodes with 13 conversions and 26 penalty kicks

CD’s Prediction – if Albion ‘play’ then they will win by at least 9 points, plus the bonus point as well, if not – still a win to Albion but maybe no bonus

If you haven't been to Brickfields before you will be in for a friendly welcome from the club and the home support.

The ground is growing into a great stadium with plenty of food and beverage outlets to suit all comers. You can get anything from a chocolate bar to a four course sit down meal.
