Jewell Cleared by FA

Paul Jewell has been let off with a warning by the FA after remarks made after the Blackburn Rovers Match.

He was angry that referee Phil Dowd did not blow for a foul when Lucas Neill challenged keeper John Filan in the build-up to Shefki Kuqi's late equalizer.

Afterwards he called Dowd's decisions "nonsensical" and said his team had been "robbed" of three points.

The FA asked Jewell to explain his remarks but will not take it further.
