We hear that the word in the paddock is that current BMW Sauber driver Robert Kubica is to be publicly named Renault driver as soon as tomorrow. Renault announced a few weeks ago that it would be revealing their 2010 Alonso replacement this week, and yesterday Toyota's dirrector Howett admitted that he feared they had just lost the "battle" to get the Polish driver on board.
We shall see...stay tuned!
We will bring you updates as soon as more information emerges.
On a final note, we'd hope he remained in the team, but unfortunately the current situation of the team for 2010 doesn't look too good, and given the feelings after the 2008 missed championship, Robert was keen to look at options outside
Quote:NobleF1: There are suggestions that the Renault-Kubica announcement has been delayed for unspecified reasons. It may be later today or even tomorrow
