On the fourth and final day of testing at Jerez, Robert Kubica and Marko Asmer completed 199 laps at the "Circuito de Jerez". This marked the final test for 2007. With the weather conditions being misty in the morning, but sunny over the course of the day, Robert and Marko ran an extensive testing programme in Jerez, where a total of 15 drivers took to the track.

4th – 7th December 2007 Day four – Friday

Number of drivers participating: 15 (16 cars as Ferrari has two for Felipe Massa)

Programme: Before Robert Kubica went out for his first run of the day members of the team stood in front of his car in the garage and sang Happy Birthday, as this was his 23rd birthday. For his third day of testing his programme included more running on the 2009 spec Bridgestone slick tyres, set-up work for the 2008 electronics and also some interesting development on the mechanical side.

After being in the car for the first time on Tuesday afternoon, Estonia’s Marko Asmer was back for a full day. The team gave him set-up work, which produced some positive feed back. The test team finished its tyre and mileage allocation for the season and over the four days in Jerez completed 3,425 kilometres.

What comes next: That is the final day of the final test for 2007. The team will launch its 2008 car, the BMW Sauber F1.08, at BMW Welt in Munich on the 14th January, while the roll-out of the car will be the next day in Valencia.
