Super Charlie Mac has signed a new deal that will keep him to the club till the end of the 2006/2007 season.

The club is pleased to announce that a new deal has been agreed that will keep Charlie Macdonald at ‘The Fleet’ for a further season.  Charlie has endeared himself to the fans with his fully committed performances and prolific goal scoring since signing for the club in the summer of 2005. 

Liam Daish says “I believe that this shows our longer term commitment to bring success to the club, Charlie is a quality striker and there will be lot of disappointed clubs out there who would have hoped to have got their hands on him.  I am striving hard to bring additional forwards to the club but am being quoted silly money all the time and in my opinion some of these players would not hold a candle to Charlie.”
