Gravesend & Northfleet boss Liam Daish has added former Gillingham youth player George Purcell to his new look squad.

George Purcell is 18 years old and is a attacking left winger who can play up front if needed.

 

He came through The Gills youth setup down at The Priestfield Stadium and the last two years has been playing week in week out in the reserve team.

 

Sadly though he never made a 1^st team appearance and was released at the end of last season.

 

He came on trial at the beginning of pre-season and has impressed Liam Daish and has signed for the forthcoming season.
