Fleet fans have now got the chance to kick a ball on the wonderfull turf down at Stonebridge Road next season, after the club came up with some half time entertainment where anyone has got a chance of having a go.

New and exciting Half Time entertainment at Gravesend & Northfleet FC

 

Gravesend & Northfleet FC is delighted to announce their new half time entertainment game, The Crossbar Challenge.

 

Local haulage company MJD & SONS LTD have very kindly agreed to sponsor this new event for the 06/07 season. This exciting new entertainment will be known as The MJD & SONS Crossbar Challenge.

 

The Crossbar Challenge was set up to offer home fans a different type of half time entertainment.  In order to participate in the MJD & SONS Crossbar Challenge fans must buy a copy of The Fleet’s new matchday Magazine ‘Fleet Life’. Hidden within three copies of Fleet Life are three golden tickets providing the lucky winners with their chance at the Challenge.

 

The 3 lucky fans will have just one attempt to hit the crossbar. Each will take their chance shooting from a point just outside the ‘D’ (for our younger Fleet fans under 12 years old, they will be able to take there attempt somewhat closer).

Each week there will be a cash prize of £40 paid for a successful hit. The prize will be shared if there is more than one winner on the day. If no fan hits the bar the £40 prize fund will be rolled over to the next Home Nationwide Conference game, so potentially a large prize could accumulate if the crossbar is not hit after several games. The prize fund will be advertised in ‘Fleet Life’ each week.

 

The MJD & SONS Crossbar Challenge will be launched at the Fleets first home game of the season against Tamworth on Tuesday 15^th August KO 19.45. The Challenge will feature in every Home Nationwide Conference game thereafter. The Challenge will be subject to adverse weather conditions in order to protect the pitch.
