Everton manager David Moyes has confirmed that he has held talks with Roy Keane over a move to Goodison Park. There have been rumours all week as to whether Keane is heading for an Everton switch and today David Moyes has officially thrown Everton's name into the running for his signature.
Moyes said, 'I can confirm I have had a meeting with Roy Keane also.'
The 34 year old midfielder left Manchester United a few weeks ago and has since been linked with several clubs from the Premierhsip including Bolton, Aston Villa and Manchester City, as well as clubs from all over Europe.
Keane would be able to sign out of the transfer window because he is a free agent. However Keane would not be able to make his debut until January 1st as the laws state that a footballer cannot play for 2 clubs in the same transfer window.
