Mikel Arteta has revealed his frustration about not being able to play for Everton on Saturday against Tottenham Hotspurs. Arteta has said he feels fine to play but has been ordered by the doctors to rest for another week.
Both Arteta and David Moyes believe he is fit to play and Arteta himself is desparate to play however he has been instructed by the neurologist not to play this weekend.
'I am fine but i need to wait before i can play again because I am not allowed despite feeling fine.'
Despite having been given the all clear by the hospital the day after the horrific challenge by the Dinamo Bucharest player Plesan it is deemed to dangerous for him to play.
'The doctors say because it is not an ankle, knee but more serious and for that reason you cannot take the gamble because it could affect you for the rest of your life.'
It is hoped Arteta will be fit to face te Champions Chelsea at Goodison Park a week on Saturday.
