Along with names Carsley, VDM, Beattie, Naysmith and Pistone we can now add Vaughan and possibly Valente. Valente is Everton's only Left Back that can play in this position for some time due to Naysmith suffering a recent complication on his road to fitness and Pistone out for the season.
It appears that Nuno picked up an ankle injury whilst playing for the national team and is now doubtful for Saturdays game against Portsmouth, which leaves Kilbane to play in the left back position again unless Moyes plays another defender out of position. Although Nuno is out of the starting XI, Moyes still believes he may still have a part to play and is hoping he can at least be available to be on the bench.
It has now appeared on the official everton website that young gun Vaughan is now out for 6 - 8 weeks which is a huge blow for the kid along with a huge disappointment to the fans who eagerly await the new wonderkid.
During the England Under 21 International, Jimmy twisted his knee and now needs a cartlidge operation.
