Brazilian midfielder Anderson Silva has signed for Everton after impressing on trial a few weeks ago. However Silva will go out on loan to Spanish side Malaga until January in order to obtain a Spanish passport. Silva has joined Everton in a seemingly complicated deal. There was much confusion as to whether the deal had been compelted but it has since been announced. After leaving Racing Santander Silva was wanted by many clubs in Spain but it was Everton who caught his eye most of all. But because he has not played for Brazil yet he would not obtain a work permit to allow him to play for Everton so the club have loaned him out to Malaga until January when it is hoped he will qualify for a Spanish passport, if not it would be likely that his loan would be extended until the end of the season.

Silva who can play in either a defensive midfield or an attacking midfield role scored twice last season for Racing Santander has been scouted by many of Europe's top clubs over the last few months including Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. But it was Everton who made the move for the 23 year old Brazilian first and Anderson Silva is already aiming towards breaking in to the Everton team.
