Bolton fanatic reaches Fans Final
Bolton’s most passionate fan, Tony Berry, has beaten thousands of fellow football fans to make the final stages of Sure Sport’s search for the UK’s wildest fan, which this week sees the eventual winner crowned the UK’s top supporter.
Over the last two months competition has been fierce, 1000’S of fans entered the nationwide search. The top fans are now whittled down to a final five, by public vote, which will see Tony compete against the top fans from Charlton, Spurs, Man City and West Ham in the final being held at White Hart Lane, home of Tottenham Hotspur.
Tony will compete against the other fans to try and claim the Sure Sport ‘Wildest Fan’ crown, with the eventual winner becoming radio TalkSPORT’s official voice of the fans during the World Cup. The lucky winner will also win a season ticket to the Sure FanZone, the ultimate place to watch England in the World Cup. Built on the banks of the River Thames, The Sure FanZone has been specially created to enable fans to Go Wild during make or break moments when watching England in the tournament.
A Bolton fan since aged nine, Tony reckons he has what it takes to go all the way. He hasn’t missed a home match in 19 years and dies his hair in club colours whenever the Wanderer’s have played at Wembley or Cardiff. At every game he gets behind the team with all his heart and regularly loses his voice yelling his support.
Tony is now hoping that he has got enough to impress the judges so that he can be named Sure Sport’s Wildest Fan’.
With only 150 tickets available for each screening at The Sure FanZone, Sure Sport for Men are expecting huge demand from the general public. Fans can win tickets at www.surefanzone.co.uk
