The presence of Sam Allardyce at the Copa Del Rey final last week has lead to a number of names being linked to the Wanderers but understandably the Bolton boss is keeping quiet on who his targets may be. Allardyce described the cup final between Espanyol and Real Zaragoza as one of the best finals he had seen and put the match on a par with the English equivilant of the competition.

Speculation immediately suggested that Espanyol's attacking midfielder Ivan De La Pena was the focus of his attention but today reports are claiming that Zaragoza striker Diego Milito is the man in question.

De La Pena, nicknamed "Little Bhudda", shot to prominence as a young player under the guidance of Sir Bobby Robson at Barcelona but his career has flagged slightly in recent seasons.

Argentinian Milito on the other hand is said to be available for around £3.5 million and could be the prolific goalscorer that Allardyce has craved for a number of seasons.

Either way the Bolton manager aims to get many new players as in before the World Cup starts in June with a number of fringe players also set to depart the Reebok Stadium.
