Okocha Added To Injury List

Bolton captain Jay-Jay Okocha is expected to be ruled out of action for up to a month after suffering a groin injury during yesterday's local derby against Wigan Athletic. The Nigerian maestro was replaced by Stelios Giannakopoulos in the second half of the defeat at the JJB Stadium and this has further increased the Wanderers injury worries going into a busy part of the season.

Nicky Hunt and Ivan Campo are also on the treatment table at the moment and could be missing for a few more weeks, leaving manager Sam Allardyce running rapidly short of players for the Premiership, UEFA Cup and now Carling Cup fixtures.

Okocha suffered a similar problem in the game against Middlesbrough a year ago so this fresh setback will be of huge disappointment to the former African Player of the Year.
