Mexican ace Jared Borgetti should finally be a Bolton Wanderers player by the end of tommorow after arriving in England to complete his transfer.
The move for the South American has understandably proved to be one of the hardest transfers to negotiate due to the number of the people who are involved in dealing with the player, but now everything seems to be falling into place to enable Borgetti to complete his £1 million plus move to the English Premiership.
Bolton manager Sam Allardyce suggested that he would be sending the striker off on a short break so that he can gain some much needed rest and get acclimatised to his different enviroment in England.
"Borgetti arrived this evening and hopefully everything will be tied up by the end of tomorrow, It is only a quick check from a medical point of view everything else is done and sorted."
"We'll then send him away for a holiday, which will be crucial for him to rest and recuperate so he is ready for the most physical season he'll have in a long time." said Allardyce
Borgetti, who has played a remarkable 64 matches already this year for club and country, is under no illusions about the task which lies ahead with his new employers.
"I will only be able to win over the English public by scoring lots of goals in the Premier League, I am conscious that I am going to a place where the level of football is extremely high, with great players and one of the strongest leagues in the world right now," said the former Pachuca front man.
"The Premier League boasts players of a very high standard and has grown in stature over the last few years. It will be a huge challenge for me but I am looking forward to it and I would love to be one of the top goalscorers or even the top scorer for Bolton this season. Bolton have put their faith in me, they believe I will score goals, and I want to repay that trust." he added
