Lens have made a statement on their official website confirming that Abdoulaye Diange-Faye will spend the next season on loan at Bolton Wanderers. The report comes just a few days after Bolton manager Sam Allardyce was hopeful of securing the 27-year old's registration, having seen him at close quarters during the Wanderers Far-Eastern tour over the last two weeks.

Although not able to play due to Work Permit problems, Diange-Faye impressed Allardyce enough in training for the Wanderers boss to take things further and it seems as if there have been developments.

After a slow recruitment drive it now seems as if the Trotters squad is starting to take shape as El-Hadji Diouf, Jared Borgetti, Ian Walker and now Diange-Faye are added to the team in the close season.
