Football agent Chiel Dekker has denied having any contact with Bolton Wanderers after weekend reports linked the club with a move for his client Andy Van Der Meyde. The Inter Milan winger is hotly tipped to leave the Italian giants this summer, either by staying in Italy or making the move over to England, where he will remain in the close season due to the fact that Inter are spending their second successive season facing English opposition in friendly matches.

Dekker confirmed that he is yet to hear of any approach from Bolton or their representatives.

"I have seen the reports about Bolton, but I have not heard anything from anyone at Bolton, I spoke to Internazionale today and they have not heard anything and there has been no official contact."

Van Der Meyde hopes to move on in the hope of getting more regular first team football elsewhere, something which he hasn't done in Milan since moving from Ajax in 2003.

"At the moment there is nothing official, but Andy wants to move on as he has been at Inter for two years and he wants to get back to how he was at Ajax and play regular football.

"I think Andy will stay in Italy or go to England.

"He will be with Inter when they go to England next week for some friendlies and he will hoping to catch the eye there.

Dekker also confirmed that Fiorentina wanted to sign the 25-year old Dutch winger on an extended loan basis, only this was turned down as Inter were seeking a permanent deal.

"Fiorentina I believe wanted him on loan, but I think Inter would prefer a permanent transfer.

"We will now just wait and see what offers are made and it all depends on who the club are."
