Bolton Wanderers have this week parted company with their long serving Youth Academy director Chris Sulley as they look to make a number of changes to the structure of their youth and scouting systems.
Sulley was told a matter of days ago that his services where no longer required at the Reebok Stadium and Bolton will now look for a new man to head youth development.
The 48-year old former Blackburn Rovers full back first came to Bolton's Academy as Martin Dobson's assistant in 1998 and later took on the job himself in the 1999-2000 season upon Sam Allardyce's appointment as manager.
Current club captain Kevin Nolan was the first player to graduate from the Bolton Academy in January 2000 and a number of others have since gone on to play first team football for the Wanderers or other clubs.
It is not quite clear who will replace Sulley but whoever ends up taking the reigns will have a good infrastructure in place with the club set to move to a multi-purpose development facility in Lostock on the site of the old British Aerospace building.
