Gary Unhappy With Madrid

UEFA could find themselves involved in an off the pitch battle between Bolton Wanderers and Atletico Madrid after the Spanish club published personal and confidential details of the Trotters arrangements on their official website.

Bolton meet Atletico in the second leg of their UEFA Cup clash tommorow evening and fuel has been added to the fire after information of the Wanderers training, flight and hotel details was leaked over the internet.

The first leg at the Reebok Stadium last week was somewhat fiery to say the least, not only did the two sets of players clash following a first half tackle by Bolton's El-Hadji Diouf on Simao Sabrosa but Madrid substitute Sergio Aguero caused an outrage and was sent off for spitting at Matthew Taylor.

Wanderers cheif Gary Megson says that he is disappointed that a club of Atletico Madrid's stature has conducted themselves in this manner.

"This is very strange behaviour for a club of their status." said Megson upon the team's arrival in Madrid

"It obviously raises serious concerns regarding Bolton Wanderers players and staff ahead of this game" added the former West Brom, Stockport and Nottingham Forest boss

It has been suggested this morning that Bolton have asked the British Embassy in Madrid to run an investigation into the specifics of the incident.

Europe governing body UEFA will have to be involved in their own investigation at some stage as they are the organisers of the competition which brought the two clubs together in the first place.
