Weather Forces Reserve Postponement

Bolton Wanderers reserves hoped to put their recent defeat against Liverpool behind them with a trip to Everton this evening but a frozen pitch has forced the postponement of the game at the Stobart Stadium in Widnes.

Bolton have yet to win in the reserve league this season but they managed to take four points of Everton last season, firstly with a 2-2 draw in Runcorn when ex-Toffee's midfielder Idan Tal scored a penalty and then a 2-1 Wanderers win last April with Tal again on the scoresheet along with Stelios Giannakopoulos.

A new date for this game is yet to be arranged meaning the second string will now be back in action a week tommorow when they take on Sunderland at the County Ground in Leyland.
