Polish duo Tomasz Kupisz and Tomasz Cywka struck second half goals for Wigan Athletic's reserve side as they piled on more misery for bottom of the table Bolton Wanderers at the Robin Park Arena yesterday evening.

It was all going so well for Bolton when they took the lead through a Temitope Obadeyi penalty in the first half but Wigan came back strongly to consign the Trotters to yet another defeat at this level.

Kupisz drew the Latics level when he curled a shot past Bolton keeper Adam Bogdan following some good build up play by Rachid Bouaouzan and then Cywka started and finished a move from close range to give the hosts the three points.

Champions of the Reserve League North last season, it looks as if Bolton's second string will be finishing in the bottom few places this time around and with only half a dozen games left to play they need to turn things around quickly.

Next up is a trip to Everton who sit comfortably in mid-table on 14 points from the season so far.
