Bolton Wanderers have added Ivan Campo, Matthew Taylor and Gary Cahill to their UEFA Cup squad as they prepare to take on Atletico Madrid at the Reebok Stadium next week in what will be the first of two duals against the Spanish outfit.

Campo was infamously left out of Bolton's initial European team by former manager Sammy Lee at the start of the season, but the veteran midfielder will now be in contention for the final rounds of the competition.

New signings Taylor and Cahill are also included, however there is no place for Gretar Steinsson as he has previously represented old club AZ Alkmaar in the earlier rounds.

Manager Gary Megson has said that Campo is itching to play in the two legged tie against Madrid having previously turned out for Atletico's big city rivals Real Madrid prior to moving to the Wanderers.

'Ivan wants to play. He's been going on about the Atletico game since the draw was made. It means a lot to him because he played for Real Madrid.' said the Bolton manager Megson to the Daily Mail.

The home tie against the Spanish team is likely to generate much more interest than in previous rounds with Wanderers slashing ticket prices and creating a new singing section.
