Bolton are beleived to be interested in taking Fulham wing back Liam Rosenior on a year long loan deal although they could face competition from Premiership rivals Portsmouth and Reading according to the Guardian newspaper.

The 23-year old son of West Ham United favourite Leroy Rosenior has been told that he has no future at Craven Cottage under the Lawrie Sanchez regime prompting a number of clubs to sit up and take notice prior to next weeks transfer deadline.

Fulham are beleived to want £3 million for the ex-Bristol City youngster with City entitled to a sell on clause included when they sold Rosenior to the Cottagers in November 2003.

Wanderers have needed competition for Nicky Hunt in the right back area and Rosenior, who was an ever present last season, would be a commandable choice.

The Trotters could over European football in an attempt to sway Wandsworth born Rosenior to move North ahead of staying in the South with the Royals and Pompey.

Needless to say that despite the dozen signings Sammy Lee has brought into Bolton this summer, there still needs to be some adjustments made to the side which is yet to collect three points this season.
