One Wanderers player will be temporarily swapping defending for decks this summer as full back Nicky Hunt will be a headline DJ at one of Bolton's prominent night spots just off Nelson Square.
Hunt will be a guest DJ at The Bar every Sunday evening and will run their African/Portuguese themed nights after learning about that particular music from some of his team mates.
The 23-year old ex-England U21 international has always had a passion for music and hopes to one day go into this particular area once his football career has come to an end.
"I have always had an interest in music and would love to pursue a career in DJing when my footballing life comes to an end. We have a number of African and Portuguese players in the team and the music in our dressing room often changes. However, I usually change it back to something I like, such as hip hop and Rn'B." said Hunt
It was team mate Ricardo Gardner who first got the Westhoughton-born full back into mixing and now he has the opportunity to test his skills in front of his home town public.
The event at The Bar begins at 7pm and includes African dance, percussion and vocals as well as a free buffet for those who attend the music extravaganza before 10pm.
