Wanderers trio Ivan Campo, Stelios Giannakopoulos and El-Hadji Diouf were all in action earlier on this evening as they represented a European XI against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The friendly game was staged as part of the Manchester United foundation which helps the next generation of youngsters from at home and abroad have a better quality of life in the future by using the power of football to progress.
All three Bolton players where introduced as substitites for the European team in the second half of the game and Diouf even managed to get himself on the scoresheet twice even though United ran out 4-3 winners thanks to a Wayne Rooney double and further goals from Wes Brown and Cristiano Ronaldo.
A lively 74,343 strong crowd turned up to see the unique occasion, a record attendance for a home friendly game at United.
