The Wanderers hope to build on last weekend's 1-0 win over Watford when they take on Fulham at the Reebok Stadium this Sunday lunchtime.

Nicolas Anelka scored the all important matchwinning goal to give Bolton the victory against the Hornets and now they are hopig he can do likewise when Chris Coleman's team come to town.

At the start of the season the Trotters shared out a 1-1 draw with Fulham down at Craven Cottage. El-Hadji Diouf had put the Wanderers in front from the penalty spot but ex-Wigan favourite Jimmy Bullard levelled from the spot in injury time after Abdoulaye Faye had clumsily handled the ball in his own area.

Fulham have lost just once since the turn of the year but most of their results have been drawn hence the reason why they find themselves currently static in a mid table position.

Their only Premiership win since 2007 began came at home to Newcastle United a week ago and manager Coleman will be eager for his team to pick up some more wins to push them ever nearer to the forty point safety zone and away from the threat of being sucked into a possible relegation battle.

Bolton are still without influential striker Kevin Davies as he continues to recover from a foot injury so Stelios Giannakopoulos may once again get a starting spot.

Utility man Quinton Fortune is still a doubt with an ankle problem and Joey O'Brien is ruled out for the rest of the season with knee trouble but recent signing David Thompson is poised for his Wanderers debut.

Fulham have midfield quartet Jimmy Bullard (knee), Mark Pembridge (achillies), Ahmed Elrich (knee) and Simon Elliott (calf) all ruled out of contention but American Clint Dempsey may again be involved following his recent move from Major League Soccer.

IT HAPPENED WHEN BOLTON PLAYED FULHAM

Ex-Wanderer Claus Jensen was sent off when these two sides met in April 2005. The Danish international handled a goalbound shot and was immediately dismissed by the referee Dermot Gallagher

That same game saw Bolton record their first victory against Fulham in any competition since March 2000 but a win at Craven Cottage is long overdue as the Trotters haven't won there since 1992.
