Davies Injury Worse Than Expected

Bolton striker Kevin Davies has been ruled out of action for up to three weeks with an ankle injury sustained in last weekend's FA Cup draw with Arsenal. The 29-year old needed painkilling injections during the 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium and medical scans have since revealed that the former Southampton man chipped a bone in his ankle.

It comes as a big blow for the Wanderers who could also be without Nicolas Anelka (dead leg) and Abdoulaye Faye (hip) following their early withdrawal from last night's game against Charlton.
