Reserves Tackle Citezens

Bolton reserves hope to build on their recent win against Wigan Athletic as they take on Manchester City at the County Ground this evening. Kevin Nolan's penalty gave the Wanderers second string their first maximum points in the league this season against the Latics and coach Jimmy Phillips will now be hoping that his side can overcome one of their bogey teams in the shape of City.

It is over three years since Bolton have managed to defeat the Manchester side on their home ground as two Mario Jardel goals made all the difference in a 2-0 success in October 2003.

In last seasons fixture between the two teams Bolton full back Nicky Hunt was sent off as Marc Laird and Ishmael Miller sent City to the top of the FA Premier reserve league table.
