Sam Allardyce has vowed to fight allegations made by the BBC Panorama programme which claims that both he and son Craig where given transfer bungs. The Wanderers manager will be reviewing the contents of the contraversial programme later on today before deciding on whether or not to take any legal action against BBC television.

"I'm aware of the situation." said Allardyce after the Wanderers recorded a 3-1 win over Walsall last night.

"Because I haven't seen anything of the programme I need to have a look at that and to take a view of that before I make any comment whatsoever.

"But if there are things saying wrong about Sam Allardyce believe you me, I will be fighting them."

Three football agents have suggested that the Bolton boss has accepted illegal payments in the past but Allardyce has strongly denied the claims of any wrong doing.

Bolton Wanderers Football Club made an official statement this morning which read:

"We are reviewing the Panorama programme carefully and we may request further information from the BBC. We will make further comment in due course"
